Unfortunately, Big Life cannot accept Medicare or Medicaid patients at this time.

We hope that future changes in government regulations might change this status in the future.

Although the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has yet to announce plans, it has said they hope DPC models to be an option for future care as part of their plan to “deliver value-based transformation in primary care."

Absolutely. Our team is highly specialized in primary care and other fields of medicine. We often have patients seek treatment who live too far away to become a regular primary care care patient or who simply already receive primary care treatment at another clinic.

We do occasionally see patients for a one-off appointment on a cash pay basis. This is subject to provider availability, as we prioritize our DPC patients' access to the team.

One of the benefits of direct primary care is access to your provider when you need it most - including after hours and on weekends. We do ask that patients respect the family time of our team by only escalating true urgent concerns during these off hours, but should you need care, please call our office and a provider will be in touch soon. Please note, after hours care is for active, Direct Primary Care patients only. Also know, urgent symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath should still go to the ER immediately.

You may cancel your Big Life DPC at any time after your first three months in our group by simply providing us with 30 days written notice by sending an email to admin@biglifecolorado.com or submitting documentation to our office in through the post.

Your retainer fees will conclude at the end of the next monthly billing cycle upon receipt of your written notice.

However, patients who leave our practice will not be able to rejoin Big Life's DPC services for a period of one year.

There are more than 1,700 direct primary care practices and growing, operating in nearly every state in the U.S. On average, direct primary care practices have fewer than 600 patients.

For many services, yes.

HSA, HRA, and FSA funds can usually be directed for Functional Medicine, Neurofeedback, Neurostimulation, IV Hydration, and primary care service NOT included in your monthly Direct Primary Care retainer fee.

At this time, HSA, HRA, and FSA funds cannot be directed toward your DPC monthly (annual) retainer fee or consumables like supplements.

Usually, yes! Having moving your primary care to Big Life's DPC model might make you more comfortable with the idea of having a health plan with a higher deductible, or one that counts all services toward the deductible instead of covering things like office visits with a copay.

At this time, Direct Primary Care retainer fees are not considered medical expenses by the government and are therefore, not deemed tax-deductible at this time. As Direct Primary Care as a practice model continues to gain momentum, this may change in time.

Although we certainly care for and respect the decision of patients who receive artificial birth control or synthetic hormone therapies at other health care clinics, we do not offer those treatments at Big Life. We promote more natural methods of family planning and hormone regulation that do not run the risk of causing cancers or other maladies later on.

We have utmost regard for the brilliance of the human design. We believe our bodies were made with intention and for good. We do not, therefore, prescribe or refer for abortions or life-ending treatments. We are incredibly respectful, however, of all patients' stories and readily welcome anyone who might disagree but still opt to receive care at Big Life or who would like us to treat them post-procedure. Every story is worthy and deserving of reverence and respect.
